Was meditating for a good while this morning in front of the altar. L came down ill last night and still wasn't (and isn't as of time of this posting) doing well. I'd done my 'good mornings', asked for some healing on his behalf, and then put together some tea and ginger capsules for him, and finished with some hands-on healing work.
Then it seemed to me, it being Mother's Day, that some lit incense might be in order for all the goddesses and for Gaia herself.
Interesting stuff came up.... my statue of Ceridwen is the one where she's kneeling by a cauldron and she has a hen on one side and a pig on the other. It's one of the pigs that's like a little wild boar -- spikey and fierce, which I like about it. Anyway, here I am gazing at/through the smoke, and suddenly wonder about the depiction of avian/human/swine combined....
And I wonder what potion awaits us?
